IRESA in Spain
OUR HISTORY

In the case of IRESA, it can say that we have grown with motoring in Spain. Significant details exist in this respect because IRESA was the first company in proposing Troop safety lines to the pilots. It was in 1971. The first troop safety lines that we proposed were of 3 points. Similarly, IRESA patented for Spain the belts harness type aviation that today are familiar for any pilot.
Simultaneously, we began to make the first special exhaust manifolds to increase induction manifold as well as the engine efficiency, to mount carburetors WEBER in motors SIMCA 1000. Alicio Rosemary, then Head of the Service of Competition of Chrysler-Spain contacted with our founder, Manuel de Miguel, to put Desafío SIMCA still on del that great champions have left (for example, Antonio Zanini). Hot Rod Race
Jedes Jahr im Sommer treffen sich Motorsport-Fans mit einer Vorliebe für alte, amerikanische Autos, um ihre Schlitten mal richtig auszufahren. Auf dem stillgelegten Militärflughafen Finowfurt in Brandenburg fahren sie ein „Hot Rod Race“, das ist ein Beschleunigugsrennen aus den fünfziger Jahren und so sind auch die Autos mindestens fünfzig Jahre alt. Jedes Wochenende werden sie von ihren Besitzern liebevoll gepflegt und einmal im Jahr innerhalb von Sekunden auf hundert Stundenkilometer gepeitscht.

Erzgebirge und den Thüringer Wald gab es sogar wenige Prototypen des Fahrradhilfsmotors mit Zusatzgebläse. Ab einer Steigung von mehr als 10 Prozent gilt: Absteigen und Schieben.

Bill's Trident
This is a 1975 Triumph Trident. It is 750cc and has 3 cylinders.
This bike is quite heavy compared to the 500cc Tiger (2 cylinders), but once moving, it is a great bike to ride. It also sounds amazing too......3 cylinders give an odd, but very nice 'song'!
Normal fuel consumption is around 45mpg via its 3 - 27mm carburettors.
Some additional information about my Triumph Tiger:
Incidentally, this bike is quite rare in the UK, they were specially made for the USA market. It was made in the 'old' Triumph factory on Jan 1st 1970; despatched to California on 17th Feb 1970; and came back to the UK sometime in late 1998. It was partially rebuilt by the first UK owner, and I finished it off. It has one quite small carburettor (26mm approx) and can achieve up to 85 mpg. if ridden with some restraint.

Secma F16 Roadster
Ist das ein Buggy, ein Roadster oder der neueste Sport-Rasenmäher? Ein deutscher Importeur bietet jetzt auch hierzulande den französischen Secma F16 an. Das frech dreinschauende Kerlchen mit dem kämpferischen Namen schürzt sich nur mit einer leichten Kunststoffkarosserie und gewährt am Hintern einen Blick auf seinen teilweise offen zur Schau getragenen Motor. Dieser kam in früheren Renault-Mégane-Modellen zum Einsatz und ist aktuell noch im Dacia Logan zu haben. Er leistet 105 PS, geschaltet wird über eine manuelle Fünfgang-Schaltung...

Das neue Elektroauto mia erweist sich als ein gefragtes Citymobil für Flottenkunden. Nur wenige Wochen nach Verkaufsstart liegen dem Elektroautohersteller mia electric Bestellungen über mehr als 100 Exemplare des neuartigen Stadtflitzers vor. Auffälligstes Merkmal des 2,87 Meter langen Dreisitzers, der vom ehemaligen VW-Chefdesigner Murat Günak entwickelt wurde, ist der zentrale Fahrersitz, der dem Fahrer beidseitiges Ein- und Aussteigen ermöglicht. Schiebetüren sowie Ausschnitte in Dach und Boden machen den Zugang besonders bequem, darüber hinaus bietet die mia einen für diese Fahrzeuglänge extrem großen Innenraum. Das Elektroauto wird ab Juni 2011 an die Flottenkunden ausgeliefert, der Einzelverkauf an Privatkunden startet 2012.

Extreme Autosammler

Huckingen. „Da wird man süchtig von“, sagt Friedel Frielinghaus (61) zu seinem Hobby: Er restauriert alte Mopeds, macht aber auch vor anderen Fahrzeugen nicht Halt. „Man hat ein Teil gerade fertig oder fast fertig, da stellt man sich schon das nächste hin.“
Nun hat Frielinghaus gut reden: Denn erstens ist er von Hause aus Kfz-Schlosser. Und zweitens bietet ihm sein großzügiges Anwesen reichlich Platz für eine Werkstatt und für Abstellräume.
„Ich hab’ immer gebastelt und geschraubt“, erzählt er. „Auch als ich noch gar nicht fahren durfte. Auf einem Gartenweg hab’ ich’s dann doch getan“, gesteht er.
Der Spaß daran war bei dem jungen Mann aber verflogen, nachdem er Ende der 60er Jahre mit seiner Kreidler Florett auf dem Weg nach Holland einen (selbst verschuldeten) Unfall hatte. „Der Helm hat mir mein Leben gerettet“, sagt er. Trotzdem sei er neun Monate krank gewesen. Danach stieg Frielinghaus aufs Auto um.
Dabei ist er zwar bis heute geblieben. Aber sein Bruder bekam 1990 ein altes Kompakt-Moped, eine Honda Charly, geschenkt, konnte damit aber nichts anfangen und gab es ab. Nachdem Friedel Frielinghaus die Zündanlage überholt hatte, lief die Maschine wieder. „Es fehlte aber die Zuverlässigkeit“, sagt er. Ende der 90er Jahre versteigerte er die Honda im Internet. Ich, David Klug ( Spitzname Mopedbürgermeister) aus Duisburg bin seit meinem 15. Lebensjahr ein begeisteter Anhänger der alten MOPEDS und Mofas ( Motorfahrräder ) aus den 50er und 60er Jahren.
Ich selbst versuche meine Privatsammlung ( derzeit 12. Mopeds, 1. Mofa, 2. Fahrräder mit Hilfsmotor und 2. Motorfahrräder) stehts auf dem neusten Originalzustand zu halten, sowie diese zu pflegen, reparieren und auszuführen. Aus beruflichen Gründen klappt dies nicht immer...
